Immunotherapy

What is immunotherapy?

Immunotherapy stands as a groundbreaking medical approach, utilizing the body’s own immune system to combat diseases. Widely recognized for its effectiveness in cancer treatment, this method involves training the immune system to identify and attack cancer cells. Beyond oncology, immunotherapy extends its applications to autoimmune diseases, allergies and infectious diseases.  Ongoing research explores the potential of immunotherapy in various domains, indicating a dynamic field with significant therapeutic promise, not limited to cancer but extending to conditions like neurodegenerative diseases and metabolic disorders.
