What is the ageing process?

We used to think that  ageing was solely evident with gray hair, skin wrinkles, and muscle weakness. However, its full impact is actually much more profound. Ageing originates at the cellular level, affecting not only our outward appearance but also instigating changes in biological, physiological, behavioral, and social processes. It extends its influence to our daily activities and plays a crucial role in our resilience against diseases. It’s now understood that ageing can also predispose individuals to chronic diseases.

What are telomeres and what is telomerase?

Telomeres act as protective caps at the ends of chromosomes, shielding them from damage and preventing them from adhering to other chromosomes. Telomerase is an enzyme that plays a crucial role in synthesizing and repairing telomeres, restoring them to their youthful length. These telomeres safeguard the chromosome ends, where our genetic information is encoded. This DNA code serves various purposes, including transmitting instructions to cells for the production of specific proteins to ensure proper cellular function.

How are telomeres connected with ageing and diseases?

    • Shortening of telomeres in human cells is associated with shortening of life
    • Telomere shortening limits stem cell function, regeneration, and organ maintenance during ageing, leading to age-related degenerative diseases
    • Telomere shortening during ageing and disease is associated with increased cancer risk
    • People aged 60 years and older with shorter blood cell telomeres have a higher mortality rate
    • Shorter telomeres are associated with:
      – 3.2 fold higher mortality rate from heart disease
      – 8.5 fold higher mortality rate from infectious diseases
      – Poor overall survival from an aggregate of all causes

What influences telomere shortening?

The rate at which telomeres shorten varies among individuals. Researchers have explored factors contributing to accelerated telomere shortening, potentially leading to premature ageing. Generally, it is considered that factors causing telomere shortening are related to:

  • Oxidative stress
  • Microinflammation
  • Lifestyle
  • Glycation
  • Smoking
  • Overweight and obesity

What is your real age?

Chronical age

Chronological or calendar age refers to the time that has passed since the day of your birth. Calendar age considers only the date of birth, and what is crucial is that calendar age is an unalterable and unmodifiable measure, unaffected by any efforts to change or influence it.

VS

Biological age

Biological age reflects the condition of our cells and tissues in the body. Most importantly, however, we can influence our biological age at the cellular level, thereby not only slowing down the outward manifestations of ageing, such as facial wrinkles and sagging skin, but also rejuvenation of our entire body from the inside out.

Rejuvenation at Saisei

Saisei in cooperation with leading Japanese research institutes has developed a unique world first product called MAF (macrophage activating factor), patented in Japan, which has various favorable effects on our body. Many of our patients wonder why one product can have such different effects and can be used for completely different disorders of our body. The answer to this question is quite simple. MAF restores the natural forces inherent in our body, which over time weaken and lose effectiveness, and it also rejuvenates our body at the cellular level, which is interconnected. Thus, MAF triggers the mechanism of revitalization and rejuvenation of our body at the level of each cell that leads to the normalization of our mental and physiological health, as well as reversing our biological age and allows us to prolong our life in a healthy body and clear mind!

But how is that possible? How does it work?
One of the main causes of ageing, and at the same time the manifestation of various diseases, is the shortening of telomeres. The lengthening of telomeres leads to longevity and rejuvenation of the body. And we believe that MAF has both these effects. But these are not just empty words. Our statement is confirmed by scientific research and clinical studies on the effectiveness of MAF in terms of rejuvenation and longevity, which we conducted in Japan, and the results of which we are pleased to share with you.

Our clinical trial report

Age-related gene expression profiling

Protocol design

Phase 2, interventional non-randomized controlled multi-center trial

Study population

Study population includes adult males and females over the age of 40

Exclusion criteria

Patients with severe diseases

Outcomes

Change in telomere length over time

Change in biological age over time

Summary and implications

Telomere length was extended with MAF Triple on average by 12% at 3 months and 23% at 6 months in 161 participants.

Biological age started going down in just 6 months after starting MAF Triple.

We live in such an interesting yet stressful time where every day challenges us, both at work when we are stressed, and at home when we are in disharmony with ourselves and nature. Sleep deprivation, unhealthy habits, stress, poor nutrition and many other factors challenge our bodies every minute of every day! All of these accelerate the depletion of our vitality and intensify our biological ageing. After all, biological age is manifested at the cellular level and if we do not help our body, these processes will only accelerate. Our clinical studies have actually shown that the use of MAF lengthens the telomeres of human chromosomes and has the effect of rejuvenating the body, reversing biological ageing. This therapy is effortless, entirely safe, and free of side effects! It is safe to say that MAF stands as a world pioneering treatment, rejuvenating the body at the cellular level, by extending telomeres and thus diminishing an individual’s biological age.

Regain your skin’s ability to create the tone and elasticity of youth by augmenting your skin cells. Recommended for persons seeking natural ageing care which doesn’t involve injecting foreign substances.
Living skin cells (dermal fibroblasts) are found in the skin’s dermis layer, under the outer epidermis, and produce the collagen, hyaluronan (hyaluronic acid), elastin, and other substances which maintain skin elasticity.
These fibroblasts decline in number due to ageing, UV rays and stress. In other words, the loss of cells which produce collagen and other substances results in an increase in such signs of ageing as wrinkles, sagging and under-eye rings.
Skin cell injection therapy involves collecting a tiny amount of your skin, extracting the fibroblasts therein and multiplying them at a cell cultivation center, and then injecting these cells back into problem areas. Because skin cell injection therapy uses only your own cells, there are no side effects and there is no danger of rejection or failure.

Skin cell Bank Service

Our skin bank service holds on to your beauty for you. Saisei Mirai Clinics offer a skin bank (storage) service for those looking to use the youthful skin cells of today for use in skin cell injection therapy several years or tens of years from now.

When you are ready to receive skin cell injection therapy, dermal fibroblasts are extracted from your stored skin sample. Some blood from you will be required to cultivate your cells for injection.
Blood will be taken in accordance with the amount of cells required and the injection locations as determined in consultation with your doctor.
You can receive your initial injection 5 weeks after blood is taken.
