What is Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)?

Autism (ASD) includes a wide range of conditions that affect how people communicate, interact, and behave. Some may have trouble with changes, focus on small details, or react differently to what they see, hear, or feel. People with autism are all different; some live independently, some need help their whole lives, and some have a form called Asperger’s Syndrome, which isn’t always easy to spot.

Autism can make school and work harder and often means families need to provide a lot of support. How society views autism and the help available can really affect their lives. Signs of autism usually start when kids are very young, but sometimes it takes a while to get a diagnosis. Many with autism also have other conditions like epilepsy or ADHD and might struggle with sleep or hurt themselves. Their thinking skills can vary a lot, from very challenged to very advanced.

Conventional treatment of ASD

More than half of US children diagnosed with ASD are prescribed psychoactive drugs or anticonvulsants, with the most common drug classes being antidepressants, stimulants and antipsychotics. Aside from antipsychotics, there is scant reliable research about the effectiveness or safety of drug treatments for adolescents and adults with ASD. A person with autism may respond atypically to medications, the medications can have adverse effects, and no known medication relieves autism’s core symptoms of social and communication impairments.

So essentially, conventional management of autism does not address the cause of the disease and only attempts to treat the symptoms

Saisei GcMAF therapy for Autism improvement

What is GcMAF ?

GcMAF treatment is a highly effective macrophage activating therapy, used to stimulate the immune system and activate macrophages, which are present in all tissues of our body. (Patented by Saisei)

2nd Generation GcMAF

3rd Generation GcMAF (dietary supplement)

What are macrophages ?

Macrophages, also known as “big eaters,” are cells that come from a type of white blood cell called monocytes. They work in our body’s defense system, helping both with general protection (innate immunity) and starting specific defenses (adaptive immunity) in vertebrate animals. Their job is to eat up and digest leftover cells and harmful germs, whether they’re staying in one place or moving around. Macrophages also tell other immune cells, like lymphocytes, how to deal with these germs. They’re like special cleanup cells that attack and destroy foreign things, infectious microbes and cancer cells through destruction and ingestion.

Tissue macrophages

Macrophages exist in nearly all tissues of human body.

Tissue resident macrophages play critical roles in repair and regeneration of each tissue

GcMAF maintains macrophages in a primed activated state, ready against pathogens, without producing high levels of cytokines or inflammation.

What are microglia?

Microglia are specialized immune cells found in the central nervous system. They belong to the family of macrophages. Microglia play a crucial role in maintaining the health of the brain by being involved in tasks such as inflammation control, removal of foreign substances, and repair of neural cells. Microglia carry out various functions within the brain and are essential contributors to the immune responses of the nervous system.

What's the connection between microglia ans ASD?

In recent scientific literature, there is a growing consensus that microglia play a vital role in ASD. New findings propose that individuals with ASD may have dysfunctional microglia. The accumulating evidence highlights the essential role of microglia in maintaining proper brain function, particularly in the regulation of neural circuits and behavior. When microglia are not functioning correctly, it can impact neural processes, influencing factors like synapse formation and the balance between excitation and inhibition.

GcMAF therapy for the treatment of Autism

Second Generation high dose GcMAF immunotherapy is administered to overcome the problem of immune system disfunction, including that of normalization of microglia functioning and macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF), which plays an integral role in autism and leads to the commonly observed symptoms.

Safety of SaiseiGcMAF treatment

Second Generation GcMAF is manufactured using an innovative  patented process developed here in Japan by Saisei Mirai in collaboration with researchers from the University of Tokushima who have been studying GcMAF for over 20 years. GcMAF is carefully produced in a dedicated sterile laboratory, adhering to all safety measures and meeting stringent requirements to ensure its absolute safety. This innovation is based on scientific findings accumulated over 20 years of dedicated research. We prioritize the safety of our patients through the use of innovative treatments and products. Notably, our product has shown minimal side effects, with only about 1 out of 100 patients experiencing temporary low-grade fever or eczema. Also, children with ASD may exhibit short-term hyperactivity as a positive reaction to the product.

Patient feedback

Our treatments, designed to normalize microglia crucial for proper brain function, extends its applicability beyond ASD to various conditions linked to brain functioning. Below are some testimonials from our young patients with quite severe conditions, sharing their experiences with our treatments. It’s important to note that individual results may vary, influenced by factors ranging from age to genetic features of the patient.

Patient with Cornelia de Lange syndrome (CdLS)

6-year-old boy
Diagnosis: Cornelia de Lange syndrome (CdLS), Q 87.1

“Dear Dr. Inui!

Let me thank you, and all the people connected to the production of MAF-products. I would like to share the results of my son’s treatment with MAF-spray. My son was taking MAF-spray for 1 year. During this year, his attention got better, he started to follow my instructions. Our communication has levelled-up, and now we are able to negotiate with each other. Besides that, his understanding of speech itself has improved. He started to quickly assimilate new information. He tries to repeat words and gestures after others. He learned to hold a cup by himself and also started to drink juice by himself (but it depends on his mood of course). He started to change his clothes by himself little by little. Today he can take off his socks, a hat, mittens and shoes. He started to ask to go to the toilet at night. His rehabilitation-therapist admired him following the instructions even when I wasn’t nearby.  He stopped vomiting, which is a great achievement for him. So, now he is able to eat buckwheat, barley and wheat porridges which aren’t mashed. I still mash the carrot soup with meat. So now he is able to eat things other than buckwheat, barley and wheat porridges. I still mash the carrot soup with meat. Together with all the skills and abilities, improvements in physical development can also be seen. He started being able to keep better balance. He learned to stand-up by himself, by grabbing something with his hands and then pulling himself up, getting on his knees first and then he stands on his feet. Of course, he still doesn’t feel confident, but is very happy to be able to do it by himself.  He still holds my hand when walking. He starts to jump with all his might when I support his body with my hands. He kicks off very well. He continues to show good results, which is a great achievement!

Thank you very much for your effort, time, attention, ideas and your kindness! Thanks to you, we can achieve even greater results! You make the world a better place!”

Patient: Child with autism

10-year-old boy<br>Diagnosis: Child with autism.
Had heart surgery when he was 3 years old, due to a congenital heart defect.
Congenital intolerance of lactose and gluten. Past history of episyndrome.

Before treatment with MAF capsules: My son had self care skills, but was very lazy. He understood addressed speech. He could partially follow instructions and had a good visual memory. He had problems with speech: saying simple words like mom, dad, give me, and many letters and syllables. His behavior was not always adequate but it was due to the fact that he couldn’t say what he wanted. Then, he would have outbursts or would bang something but it was without aggression. He didn’t offend children. He was not always able to focus on his studies. He had communication skills and made eye to eye contact. He was not afraid of loud sounds, and had a self-preservation instinct. Sometimes he didn’t ask to go to the toilet at night. He had poor sleep.

After treatment with MAF capsules: Good tendency in general. His focusing skills improved. He began to show interest in the world around him: people, nature, animals. His sleep has improved (he began to follow a sleep schedule). His appetite got better. He began to eat vegetables and meat. He liked the meat a lot. He began to point with his finger what he wants in the supermarket.  His learning skills have also improved but he is still very lazy. His outbursts have stopped, but he became very fragile (easily offended). He showed interest in studying and began to paint pictures. His verbal comprehension skills have improved.

Patient with delay in psychoverbal and psychomotor development

9-year-old girl
Diagnosis: Delay in psychoverbal and psychomotor development, F 06.8

Before treatment with MAF capsules:

Developmental delay. Understands speech, but follows directions at her own will. Pronounces different sounds, mainly vowels, says words in syllables, can say simple words. Poor motor skills (poor physical coordination). Behavior: starts screaming and crying when she cannot get what she wants. Can bang herself on the head. Difficulty concentrating (when writing, doing puzzles or playing). Good memory, pays attention to details. High level of communication, and has no fear of unfamiliar people.

After treatment with MAF capsules:

After treatment with MAF capsules she started following instructions, and started to do it faster. Her memory has improved. The motor skills have improved—her walking skills got better, and she learned to jump. Her immunity has improved. She didn’t get a cold even once while taking MAF capsules. It is still hard for her to write and speak. She started to actively participate in everyday life—showing interest in different things, manifesting a desire to help with everything. Her attitude to animals has changed and she got interested in feeding the bunnies (before she was too scared to do that). She now also shows a keen interest in communicating with her little cousin.
